Typical fits include sales contracts, proposals, NDAs, vendor onboarding, HR acknowledgments, and agency SOWs. WPsigner captures consent, IP/device metadata, document hashes, and optional RFC 3161 timestamps in a tamper-evident audit trail. You can strengthen identity with OTP or optional KYC when risk warrants it.
Not compatible / not a substitute for: (1) wet-ink signatures where law or the instrument still requires handwritten execution; (2) notarization, apostille, or other formal acknowledgment ceremonies; (3) documents that statutes exclude from electronic form or that need a specific statutory method; (4) HIPAA “certification” — WPsigner is not HIPAA-certified; covered entities remain responsible for their compliance program; (5) eIDAS Qualified Electronic Signatures (QES) — that is an EU framework. If your document needs one of those formalities, use the required process instead of WPsigner.
