Frequently Asked Questions
Which messaging platforms are supported?
WPsigner integrates with Twilio (SMS), WhatsApp Business API, Telegram Bot API, Slack, and Microsoft Teams. You can use one or multiple channels simultaneously. Additional platforms can be connected via Zapier, Make, or n8n.
Do I need a Twilio account for SMS?
Yes. WPsigner uses the Twilio API for SMS delivery. You'll need a Twilio account with a phone number. Twilio charges per SMS sent (typically $0.0075/SMS in the US). You enter your Twilio Account SID and Auth Token in WPsigner settings.
Can signers reply to SMS/WhatsApp to sign?
No. Messaging notifications contain a link to the full signing experience. Signers click the link to open the document in their browser, where they go through the complete signing process with proper consent, audit trails, and legal compliance.
How does Slack integration work?
WPsigner sends webhook notifications to your Slack workspace. You configure an incoming webhook URL in Slack and paste it in WPsigner settings. Notifications appear as rich messages with document name, signer, status, and a link to the admin dashboard.
